About Us

The family owned advertising agency was originally purchased as the Ross Agency, where Carmen Million started as a secretary and worked her way up to buying the agency when the founder passed away. Carmen was a female pioneer in the New Orleans advertising and business community dating back to the 1960’s. She was the first lady president of the New Orleans Ad Club, and the first female Lt. Governor of the American Advertising Federation for the South. Carmen won the prestigious Silver Medal from the New Orleans Ad Club, as well as Addy Awards from the AAF and Effies from the Pepsi-Cola Company. She created the first under the crown bottle cap contest in the soft drink industry, and she created the Pepsi Steve Stonebreaker Saints Football Camp for boys as well as the Dr Pepper Miss Teenage America Camp for Girls – where participants collected bottle caps to attend. Carmen also did work for numerous non-profits such as Children’s Hospital and The St. Paul’s School.

In her later years, Carmen taught Marketing at Tulane University on the Ms Coast, where her students voted her as campus teacher of the year. When Carmen developed Lewey Body Dementia in 2007, her sons continued the agency to cover her medical care, and were focused on growing the business based on the old-school approach taught to them by Carmen, while embracing the technologies and data resources of the modern era needed for the multitude of media options today.

On January 1, 2013, Brooke Million O’Donnell joined the team as a third generation of MilliMedia. She worked as the VP of Client services for ten years before taking over MilliMedia as the sole owner in March of 2024.  As a client, you will work on a day-to-day basis with the partners who are fully involved in all account services for the advertising agency. Brooke is the third generation of this advertising agency and is here to carry on the family tradition. We have grown from one client to over ten clients and counting and purchase in over 30 markets in the southeast. Brooke has re-branded this agency as a digital marketing agency while still handling traditional media as well.
